                                                                  DAY 2 OF FILMING




 Today was our group second day of filming. This took place at school and a street corner near the school. Unfortunately  we started filming Kate today due to the fact that I had to go and get my lilte brother from school and y the time I got back  Tanya was was stuck in traffic on her way here.
Finally she came due to time and the amount of coursework  to do kemique had to go and film all bye herself with Tino, Ephraim and Tanya .  She did a very good at it plus she's the best at using the camera in the group.
The group manage to fill the second part of the film today from the mother dropping of her kids , the mistery guy following her from behind and  the kidnapping part.  From the footages it looks as if  everyone that took part really enjoyed them-self.

The title and studio name.

                                why the revenge?




We choose " revenge" because it's the main them and concepts of our thriller project.  And also its short and it stands out. I was the one that came up with the this idea and the story line but as a group we came together and turned it into our own.


                                 Why black inc.




We also decided to name our studio name " black Inc." Because it definitely described out studio ident. Also it was short and I catching so we thought why not name it. More over we chose to position the studio name right at the middle of the screen with the black in and water effect at the back.  This allows the logo to stand out on its own and eye catching.  We thought the simpler the better!

Editing day 1

                                                 DAY 1 OF EDITING 



Today was our group first editing session  and it was only kemique and myself for the main part and déjà arrived later on.

Today we where editing  our first part of our opening that we filmed in Tanya house . It went really well but we realised that we had to re filmed some part and and  change some details.  At first  kemique was having trouble uploading our film to the  Adobe premiere after have had sir explained to her 2 times. I had to take over guess what I did it on my first go . Hopefully she remembers for next time!

Everything went well  we did our opening, the studio ident , title sequence etc.. however we only manage to film up to Tanya and Michael (Ephraim) leaving the house .




Here's our title for our movie , we decided to name our thriller opening " revenge". The title says it all. Actually it was my idea to come to think of it!

screening / audience feedback

we did a numerous audience feed back  as a group and as individuals. we noticed that each audience feedback was different from the  others.  However there was some links and we manage to quickly change certain areas that we where able to fix due to the fact that we didn't have enough time left.


The first audience feed back was by lone and he was interviewed by deja .




The second audience feedback was from some of my friends from warren and they were able to give us their opinion and we appreciated it.
The age group that i asked was 17-18 year old and we had good and bad feedbacks from them but that what helped us to to finish our film on time. I then asked them asked them a  couple of questions and this is what they said.

I asked Abigail, James, Temi, Awana , Princella ,Thomas and Amin  if they understood  the plot ?
the majority of them did except Abigail she is  all ways in here own world . We had to explain to her 3 time in order for her to understand what is going on. we finally got there at the end.

The second question that i asked them was " what they like about  our film and why"

James said -  said that he likes the kidnapping scene and the fact that  the stocker was unknown and the way that he garbed her.

Temi  said - she love our studio and the whole  INC and water idea. she said its unique and different .

Awana said - she  love the location that we used . she also added that she  liked Tanya acting  the way she took the mother role it was good.

princella said - she likes the different  camera angle  and the editing.

I then asked them  if there for anything that they didn't like about the film ?

Thomas said- Tanya acting could have been better especially the guy that was following Tanya.

Amin - also said the same thing and he also added that the film wasn't really a thriller looking film and the locations could have been better.

Abigail said - we could have used  more sound and music and the story was to basic. she also added that the lighting wasn't really good but overall it was a good opening.

to finish it off i asked them to rate our film out of five?

Temi- 3, James 3, princella 2 Thomas 3  Amin  3 and Abigail  3.

Editing day 2

                           DAY 2 OF EDITING


Today was our second day of editing and personally I believe that this is the only day that I really didn't get involved in due to the fact that  I was too focused on getting my  other task completed. However I did manage to take some pictures of the girls editing But my computer is acting up excuse me if you don't see anything.


The girls manage to complete the rest of the film with sir help because they where struggling at one point.   One point it got to much for the girls and they started shouting at me telling me to get myself over there and help them.  That's exactly what I did I edited for 10 minutes I know it's not much but at least I did something.


                   
Also take it to mind that we had to re film tino and tanya part due to the fact the fotagd6 that we took before tanya and max kept laughing and the quality was pretty bad so we had to ask tino instead.
