                                                SOUND EXCISE 




This is our sound excise our second film exercise . The plot is tanya ( pregnant women)  coming out of her car as she's walking  long . she's been followed by deja  who ends up pushing her and stilling her bag and shoe. Kemique then comes along and  see Tanya on the floor and helps her.

Our main focuses for this exercise was to incorporate different type of sound into our shoot video.
we used different type of sound such as  Diegetic and non-diegetic. This were used through conversation,  tanya footstep, deja stewing.

Off screen  sound was used when  the voice  " hey whats  going on" was used whilst deja was harassing tanya.  This enable the  extension of the diegetic world.
Another off screen sound that was used was the noise of the ambulance  in the background. the audience are not able to see it or where its coming from.
Parallel sound matches the action thats taking place. This was demonstrated  when Kemique saw tanya and ran towards her and she was on the phone calling the ambulance .
On screen sound was also used . An example of this was tanya footstep  as she was walking around . its an on screen  sound because  the sound thats made or used the audience  is able to see its source. Its also a Natural sound because it natural belongs in the scene and matches.
Diegetic sound- when the sound re;ate to the scene. an example in a scene of when tanya was screaming for help.
Non- diegetic sound refers to everything out side the world of the text. and example is a voice over, sound track , caption, title, subtitles. which we didn't really include in this extract except the voice over .


                              we also focused on using different type of camera shoot .

This is a close up of tanya on the floor  and deja hand on her shoulder. we used this shoot in order to allow the audience to see tanya facial;l expression.

This is slightly a high angle of Tanya on the floor as she landed after had been pushed by Deja ( the teenage thief)

This is  shoot shows deja pushing tanya on the floor and also the positioning on them on screen shows  that deja is the dominate and tanya is the subordinate one. this is also the part that you here the voice over or the voice of myself shouting " whats going on".

this is a low angle of deja . well at this moment of her shadow this shows how much power she has over tanya.

thanks to the microphone we where able to get the different sound much clearly than  if we didn't. also I believe that kemique and myself did a good job with the filming as this was our second time of us using it.
